The Kogi Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has affirmed the victory of Governor Yahaya Bello in the 2019 gubernatorial elections conducted in Kogi State.
According to reports, the tribunal alleged substantial none compliance with the provisions of the electoral Act, Over voting, Violence, Snatching of ballot boxes, Failure to accredit e.t.c.
The Governor lauded the tribunal for upholding his victory and said the landmark judgment affirming is a validation of the people’s mandate and an added impetus to his drive to do more for the good people of Kogi State.
On the other end, the PDP candidate of the November 16th Guber elections in Kogi State, Musa Wada vowed to appeal the judgement of the tribunal saying “The Battle is not over yet”.
