About 270 Nigerians marooned in India due to the pandemic has returned home earlier today, June 13. Some debarked at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, while the others debarked at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos. . The returnees where airlifted by Air Peace.
The report said that all returnees tested negative to the coronavirus before departure, but that they were going to be retested within the next three days by the NCDC. All the returnees are mandated to be in self isolation for the next 14 days as demanded by the Presidential task Force on Covid-19.
