A High Court in Rivers State has ordered the former Deputy National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Victor Giadom, to restrain from parading himself as a member or officer of the party.

The order was declared on Tuesday by Justice C. Nwogu in a suit filed by Okechukwu Ogbonna and Mac-Lord Peterson.

The court ordered that based on his suspension by the State Executive Committee (SEC) of APC, Giadom should not participate in the activities of the party in whatever capacity or manner.

The judge ruled: “An order of interim order is hereby made restraining the third defendant from parading himself as an officer or member of the APC or exercising any right or privilege accruable to member of the APC or however”

On Monday, Barrister Worgu Boms, who was forwarded as a Giadom’s replacement was sworn in by the National Working Committee (NWC).

The Judge adjourned further hearing in the suit to 9th July, 2020.
