The English Premier league games scheduled to resume on June 17 will be holding a minute’s silence to remember those who have died of coronavirus before the commencement of games.

The acknowledgement of the impact of the pandemic and the efforts of frontline workers (doctors, health workers)  is expected at the opening of two games on 17 June and the first full round of fixtures.

Heart-shaped badges in tribute to the NHS are also set to be worn on kits.
