Panic in Imo State as 13 law makers test positive to COVID-19
Fear and worry gripped the members of the state house of assembly in Imo State and the citizens today, as they learnt that 13 more lawmakers in Imo state have tested positive for COVID-19,in less than a week after a lawmaker in Imo State, whose identity not released, tested positive.
The chairman of the state’s Covid-19 task force, Professor Maurice Iwu, had earlier disclosed on Tuesday, June 16, that a lawmaker tested positive to COVID-19 and that he and his wife has been placed on isolation, while tests are to be conducted on all the state lawmakers.
It has now been revealed that 13 more lawmakers whose results are out have been infected with the virus in Imo state.
