The state Commissioner for Health in Ondo, Dr Wahab AdegbenroOndo on Monday, announced the first Covid19 casualty in the State.
He revealed that the deceased was already receiving treatment at the state’s Infectious Disease Hospital before he passed on.
The commissioner also noted that the deceased had an underlying health challenge of renal failure, which worsened his case and eventually led to his death.
According to him, the remains of the departed would be buried in accordance with the laid down rules by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
