
Nigerian Doctor Appointed As Head Of COVID-19 Task Force In Sierra Leone.
A Nigerian Medical Practioner, Dr. Laoluwa Adejayan, has been appointed as the Head of COVID-19 Task Force in Sierra Leone.
His reward was necessitated by his tremendous hard work and expertise earning himself a recognition as the best foreign medical practitioner in the country in recent years.
Accompanying this appointment is a 100 percent increase in his salary to $20,000 per month by the Sierra Leone Government.
In a letter addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari informing him of the development, Sierra Leone’s President, Julius Maada Bio, described Adejayan as a good ambassador of Nigeria in the country.
According to him, the young doctor has proved beyond reasonable doubt to be a well-trained, brilliant and hard working professional.
Elated by the appointment, President Buhari congratulated the medical practitioner for being an exceptional representative of the country.
Speaking through his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Femi Adesina, Buhari said the Federal Government was proud of his performance in Seirra Leone.
