The recruitment of the third batch of the Federal Government’s Social Investment Programme for youth empowerment popularly known as N-Power is set to commence soon, as announced by the FG.
The first batch commenced in 2016 with the employment of 200,000 beneficiaries who earn 30 thousand naira monthly as stipends from fulfilment of their various duties as assigned by the FG.
The second batch commenced in 2018 with 300,000 beneficiaries across the 36 states of Nigeria, making a total of 500,000 N-Power beneficiaries.
Thousands of Nigerian youths, thanks to the empowerment scheme of the Buhari led Federal Government, are provided with an opportunity to serve the nation for 2 years, with several incentive packages under the N-Power scheme.
This program also requires all applicants to meet up with the minimum academic qualification. These includes:
Ordinary National Diploma (OND)
Higher National Diploma (HND)
Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE)
Bachelor’s degree (Bsc /BA/BED)
