Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo has renamed a street formerly known as Adams Oshiomole Crescent after the former Senate President, Bukola Saraki on Friday.

He renamed street in Auchi, Edo state from Adams Oshiomole Crescent to Bukola Saraki Boulevard.

On Friday, Obaseki joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to seek for re-election on their platform after the All Progressives Congress (APC) disqualified him from seeking a second term.

Oshiomhole who was the national chairman of the APC before he was suspended vowed that Obaseki will not be given another chance on the platform of the party and has picked Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to succeed him.

Multiple issues and tensions have been between Obaseki and his predecessor, Adams Oshiomhole and all peaceful atempt to settle their differences failed woefully.
