The Akwa Ibom State Government has sealed the Christ Embassy Church, Uyo for disregarding the safety measures put in place for religious centers on reopening services to half community to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
The Pastor who objected to the guidelines for the reopening of worship centers said that the ministry was not under CAN, and as such is not bound by the regulation of its members. He stated that the regulations were impracticable as touching the use of face mask and not having more than 200 worshipers at once which he said is an attempt to gag the Church.
